The links on this page are ones
that we either use, find useful or enjoyable.
Most of them are free and can be used within an office or
home environment without causing any inconvenience to the
system that you might be using.
However, they all work better with broadband and a sound
card on your computer is essential to take advantage of them
all.
We have put them into categories to make them more identifiable.

Humour
In addition to the jokes which are posted in the Coffee Room
other links which might brighten up your day can be found
at:
www.punch.co.uk
for the best cartoons from the past 100 years
www.dilbert.com
http://www.romanm.ch/english/ascii-movies.htm
In the early days of computing, programmers
with too much free time created "ASCII graphics;"
pictures--- often risque---composed entirely of numbers, letters,
and punctuation marks used as pixels. Some of the drawings
were amazingly detailed, with surprising artistry.
This entire site is ASCII, no graphics, just text. They've
got a lot of really detailed pictures created from text but
what's really impressive are the movies! These are movie clips
created
from text, it's really different and an awful lot of work
went into these things!
Amazing!
